Wayne Anthony Allison is an English former footballer and coach with a career spanning over 20 years. He began his career with Halifax Town in the mid-1980s and went on to play for several clubs, including Watford, Bristol City, and Sheffield United. Allison played for Tranmere Rovers and later took on a coaching role at the club in October 2009. He moved to Bradford City in July 2011. With 752 all-time appearances and 171 career goals, Allison has a commendable record. He completed a PhD in the effects of high-intensity exercise on decision-making in football at Sheffield Hallam University in 2010. His position as a prolific striker was well-regarded throughout his career.
